Welcome!

Claire McClain is bi-coastal filmmaker, actor, and artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Ever since she was a kid in Missouri watching James Cagney films on TV, Claire has dreamed of a career in film. With a sincere passion as her only guiding light into the industry, she moved to New York City, got an MFA in acting, and now works on both coasts.

Claire has appeared in national commercials, voiceover campaigns, in theatre, a feature film on Apple TV, as well as award-winning short films. In addition to acting, she makes her own films. Her short film, “Riis”, based on Jacob Riis Beach in the New York City is touring the country on the festival circuit. It was selected for NewFest—the largest LGBTQ+ film festival in the U.S. and played for a sold out audience of 500+ people.

Off-screen, Claire are a multi skilled individual with a passion for painting, crafting, boxing, running, playing music, and writing, all of which contribute to their dynamic approach to both performance and creation. Claire doesn't fit the box-that's the point. She has a palpable complexity that adds depth where you least expect with an authenticity that you can't find anywhere else.
