Welcome!
Claire McClain is a queer bi-coastal actor and multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Hailing from Missouri, Claire discovered acting watching James Cagney movies on TV when she was small. Armed with nothing but a phone book, they found an acting class and convinced their mom to drive them there. That determination to follow their passion led to an MFA in acting and a thriving career on both coasts.
As a seasoned performer, Claire has appeared in national commercials, voiceover campaigns, in theatre, a feature film on Apple TV, as well as award-winning short films. They bring a unique blend of seriousness and humor to each role, skillfully balancing grit with wit. Whether tackling complex drama or delivering comedic moments, Claire approaches every project with a deep commitment to authenticity.
In addition to acting, Claire is also a burgeoning filmmaker, bringing her creative vision to life behind the camera. Off-screen, they are a multi skilled individual with a passion for painting, crafting, boxing, running, playing music, and writing, all of which contribute to their dynamic approach to both performance and creation. She’s a lover and a fighter, and can play the whole spectrum in between. Claire is a very fluid actor with a unique range.
